This was our second visit & this time we took our small dog with us. Everything was perfect, from the superb, clean & comfortable room but also, the friendly, attentive staff & the excellent food...they even had a cooked sausage for our dog! Another lovely thought was the 'welcome pack' for our dog which included some treats & a tennis ball to play with. We will certainly will be coming back to the Lastra Farm Hotel for ALL our future visits to Anglesey!
Rooms spotless, hotel manager and team amazing, couldn’t do enough for us, food is excellent, compliments to the chef and very very generous portions, hotel was a base for travelling round Anglesey but we always made sure we were back for evening meal and the full English breakfast is awesome, it was our second visit, found by chance last year and was an easy choice to book this year for a quick break away and will book again next year.
Lovely location overlooking the Menai Straits. Nice meal in restaurant in the evening followed by a good breakfast with vegetarian options served by a friendly waitress. All in, an enjoyable stay in a nice location. The staff were all trying very hard to be professional, the food was good and accommodation a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend the Gazelle Hotel as a good place to stay on Anglesey.
Benllech
Fantastic apartment, beautifully decorated to a high standard. Everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Spacious, with stunning views over the bay and Snowdonia range beyond. Easy walk to the beach and Red Wharf Bay along the coastal path. Plenty of eating places in Benllech, however, several were closed due to time of year. Highly recommend this apartment as an ideal place to explore the Anglesey.
The room was very spacious and extremely modern and clean. Breakfast was excellent and the only reason for not eating in the restaurant was that we prefer to eat earlier. The Hotel itself is a beautiful building, in a lovely location and well situated on Anglesey for visiting all the island locations. The staff are so friendly and helpful and this all goes to make a relaxing stay.
Everything was fabulous from the communication with the owner regarding directions of how to find the property, to the comfort and cleanliness of the whole house. We loved the quirky design pieces that decorate the apartment, and all the appliances were top of the range. It was a great place for exploring the Anglesey countryside and we would definitely love to stay there again.
Very comfortable hotel in a convenient location on Anglesey for exploring the island or visiting friends; Welcoming and helpful landlord; Spacious car park; The room was attractive and warm, leading to a good and efficient shower room; Reliable wi-fi and ample provision for tea-&-coffee; Breakfast was well served in the bar area. A most enjoyable few days in Wales.
